Check out the Burghley Horse Trials cross country course

It's the next best thing to being there.

The Burghley Horse Trials website has an aerial map of the cross country course and gives you the chance to "ride along" with course designer Captain Mark Phillips as he drives the course and reviews the fences.

The Burghley Horse Trials start on September 3rd. I've always enjoyed the coverage offered and their website has a wealth of information.

And don't forget to tune into Burghley TV  once the event starts.

Some day I'd like to watch this event live but until then I'm grateful for the TV coverage.
